It Goes On #1

Hey! ❤

Happy New of March!!! May this new month move us all to greater heights in Jesus name.

Life is like a road, there are bumps, there are cracks, there are road blocks, but one important thing to note is that it keeps going.  -Anonymous

It Goes On” is a Series of life experiences, memories of people, situations I would love to share on my blog.

So I decided to start a “Lifestyle series” which I titled It Goes On” meaning “Life goes on”

“It Goes On series” is an inspiration from different lifestyles and experiences, which I would love everyone to learn from, especially from the little things we all overlook as individuals.

Hope you enjoy and learn from all the stories and experiences I’d be sharing…

It was a beautiful Saturday morning, all things bright and beautiful, birds singing melodies, everyone in the room doing laundries and cleaning up for a new week.

High school hostel was a crowdy and a busy one.

Emmanuella woke up to checked the time and realized she was running late for her Saturday lectures. She ran into bathroom to a take a shower and get dressed for lectures. Her roommate whom was cleaning asked her why she was going to class so early because she thought it was way too early for the lectures to start.

Ella has always been a punctual student who reserves seats for Friends in class.

Ella got to class and realized the lecture was about thirty minutes to kick off. And as usual she reserved seats for her friends.

Shortly the lecture started, a few friends came in to seat with her and there still some reserved seat by her side.

About an hour into the lecture, she realized the empty seat beside her was occupied by a young looking gentle man. So she was like “excuse me, you are sitted on a friend’s seat”.

He apologized and promised to leave as soon as her friend arrives. So she had no choice than to pardon him sit on the seat.

At the end of the lecture, he asked why he never saw the friend she claimed owned the seat. She then told him probably her friend had changed her mind because she wouldn’t want to be late.

The young man whose name was Dan appeared to be brilliant and intelligent. They got talking quickly because he seemed very friendly.

After the lectures, he promised to explain some things she couldn’t understand during the course of the lecture and he did explained well that she could even teach someone else.

They connected instantly and became good friends. He became a good friend and good tutor who made sure all her courses were all understood.

Ella’s academics was way better than how it used to be when She became friends with Dan.

PS: TO BE CONTINUED… Stay glued.

LESSONS LEARNT

– Everybody you meet in life brings to you a lesson or a blessing. (Just the way she met her tutor who helped her academically)

– Never let peoples’ opinions discourage you so easily. Stand firm on your words and take responsibility of them. (Just when her roommate wanted to discourage her not to go too early for lectures)

– Know that all things work together for good and they that love God. (Her friend who refused to show up for lectures made her meet a new friend)

– Always remember, every disappointment is a blessing in disguise. (She felt a bit disappointed when she got in for lectures and realized lectures hasn’t started)

– Never judge a book by its cover.(She never judged him with his appearance regardless of his dressing not knowing he had intellectuals on the inside of him).

Thanks for stopping by. Please remember to subscribe to my blog, comment and share with friends. xoxo
