
Sometimes ago, I used to struggle in my comfort zone. I used to be someone who loves being in my comfort zone. Lol
Then I realized, being in a comfort zone is like imprisoning oneself. To be very honest, your comfort zone will not add so much value to your life. Until you step out to explore the possibilities and opportunities awaiting you outside that comfort.
Yes! A comfort zone is a beautiful place but you know what?, nothing ever grows there.. It is a place where you feel very relaxed and very comfortable being there.
Even when circumstances and opportunities arises, you sometimes tend to feel reluctant having to leave your comfort zone.
Most of us are wired to avoid risks. We don’t want to step out of our comfort zone. Yes, It’s sometimes scary to think about it.
The biggest step you can take to grow as a person is to step outside your comfort zone and take risks.

However, the comfort zone is place where stress and anxiety are minimal, where you know what’s coming next and can plan accordingly.
The truth is if you don’t learn to leave your comfort zone and take risks, you might be limiting your chances of growth, development, possibilities, several opportunities and experiences.
Stepping outside your comfort zone is very important, and it’s a universal factor in your personal growth.
How can you expect to evolve in life and career if you only stick to specific habits and routines?
You need to step out of that comfort zone to do exploits.

So here are some ways on how you can step out of your comfort zone.
1) Make up your mind about your decision, be determined about the break out and be sure you’re ready within yourself. That’s simply the first step.
2) Think about your purpose in life. Create a vision for your life. Define your goals and dreams. And begin to work in line with them.
3)Take bold steps towards realizing and achieving your goals and dreams. Make moves everyday that will bring you closer to your goals.
4) Change your mindset and thoughts to the direction you want. Create mental affirmations that has to do with what you desire and/or whom you want to become and work on them everyday. With time, these affirmations will become a part of your belief system.
5) Build and train yourself on how to handle fear. Whatever scares you in anyway, you have to face it now. Face your fears and build your confidence. Do what you are scared of doing (If it scares you, it’s worth trying, Ok!)
6) Do something productive everyday about what you really desire. Take steps on how to achieve them everyday. (Rome wasn’t built in a day, it was a gradual process, you will eventually grow in it.) So start now.
7) Don’t restrict nor isolate yourself, build connections with people of like minds, surround yourself with smart people, learn good things from your role models, ask questions, start conversations and explore the world.
8) Make great decisions on personal growth and development and make sure you are responsible for all your decisions. Try to consider other people’s view, rethink and rethink and take your decision.

Explore and develop those talents God has deposited in you.
And believe me, it’s worth it.
