I finally got around to going to the Nike Arts Centre for Arts and Culture some weeks ago. I’ve been meaning to visit the gallery for ages now and when I got a opportunity, I immediately knew that I had to use it to tick something fun off my to do list.
I initially planned to go to have some very nice Ofada and some African dishes at the Ofada boy joint in Surulere but my husband, yeah my husband changed the plans into visiting. So the next option was to look for somewhere close by to head to and the Nike Arts Gallery made the cut. I’m a big fan of anything artsy and I’ve read nice things about the place also so I looked forward to visiting.

Nike Arts Centre for Arts and Culture is basically the same as the Nike Arts Gallery in Lekki. It is a 4 storey building located at Oba Yekini Elegushi road, Lekki Phase 2, Lekki.
As at the day my husband and I I went, it was a free entry and the gallery opens from 8am to 6pm weekdays and 10am to 6pm on weekends.

It’s such a beautiful place to visit with family and friends so it can be fun and not boring even though there could be many tourists visiting at the same time.
We had so much fun feeding our eyes with so many beautiful art works till we started relating what the inspirations of some specific and unique art works could be.

The ambiance and the maintenance are really top notch. It’s highly maintained even with the fact that it’s a free entry like just go feed your eyes and have fun.
It’s has a beautiful ambiance for pictures. A good phone and a good photographer matters too so you might want to go with friends and families you can enjoy your tour with.
The four story building is filled with beautiful art works from the first floor to the last floor. When visiting remember to go with a group of Friends or families so has to have your visit fun and also dress in a comfy outfit and shoes to be able to move swiftly and explore the whole building.

My husband and I totally enjoyed our visit to The Nike Art Gallery. If you haven’t visited, I think it’s good you add it to your visit wish list.
Till next time,
Remember to always live your life to the fullest.
Have a fantastic weekend!
