The Ember months are here!!!

It’s going to be a wonderful Ember season for us all. This year is gradually rapping up, few months to go.. You still haven’t crushed those sets goals? These few months can make a difference. So go on and crush them.

The past few months have been quite busy with lots of activities and hustle hustle. Being an entrepreneur and also an employee at the same time is quite challenging especially with the stress in Lagos, Nigeria.

Moreover, from my research, the employees, employers, self employed and entrepreneurs mostly complain about their busy schedule and inadequate time to take proper care of their health.

So here’s a few guide on how to take proper care of your health and fitness.

1) Develop a healthy diet routine.

Diet is an important factor. We all need to eat to sustain and live healthier. As a busy entrepreneur or employee, breakfast is a very important meal of the day you shouldn’t miss. Lunch and dinner are quite necessary too. Try as much as possible not to eat junks. Junks aren’t healthy but good food are. Have a healthy diet routine and eat the right kind of foods.

2) Create Time for Yourself.

All work and no play can get you down.The barriers between work and personal life can become blur for many busy entrepreneurs, and it’s really true that creating time for fun is as important as the time you create for your professional tasks. Try to balance both lives.

3) Schedule Time for Adequate Rest/Sleep.

Getting adequate sleep and rest is paramount to the health and well-being. Doctor’s recommend nothing less than 7-8 hours of sleep. If you have to wake up very early, make sure you sleep early too. You need to create and dedicate some time for rest. If not sleeping, relax. Take your mind off work pressure, watch movies, do what makes you feel relaxed, have a warm bath, watch TV and feel good.

4) Have Some Time to Exercise.

Exercise isn’t for the weighty people only, it’s recommended for everyone. It’s a form of relaxing the muscles and other parts of the body to keep healthy. It’s not compulsory you go to a gym. You can have your workout sessions right in your home or room. There are several exercises you can involve in like walking a distance, running, and more. Even when doing some house chores, you exercise. Make sure your body is active (this helps when trying to loose weight too).

5) Have a Plan.

A successful day starts with a good plan. Planning your day and having a to-do-list makes you achieve most if not all what you’ve set your mind on for the day. As a busy entrepreneur, employee, or employer, a good plan or a to-do-list is a good propelling tool to achieving your set goals.
