How to stay Motivated always

Motivation is the willingness of action especially in behavior.
The action of motivating yourself comes from within you, your environment and your thoughts so to say.

The truth be told, no amount of pep talks on motivation, YouTube videos, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook posts can make you motivated if you don’t set your mind at it.

Your mind and thoughts are what pushes you into whatever you set yourself at. If you have negativity in your thoughts, you already know you are not going to be happy with the outcomes of things that may evolve in your doings most times simply because of what you have planted in your thoughts.

Challenges are bound to occur, issues are bound to arise. You can never be the first to experience such the earlier you accept it, the better for you. There are certain situations that way us down, yeah. But you know what accept it, highlight your lessons and move on.

Dwelling on the challenges will slow you down and disrupt you from your goals. So whatever situation you find yourself, create your happiness in it. Dwell on the positive side of it and not the negative. Try to motivate yourself in that situation by;

  • Surround yourself with Positivity: Let positive vibes be your watchword. Don’t dwell on the negative side of a situation. Create your drive from the positive. Surround yourself with positive thinkers who emanate positive energy.
  • Speak positive affirmations. Regardless of whatever you are going through, speak out loud what you want to happen. Words have a creative force, write out affirmations that you can say daily, and make sure you declare it upon yourself daily.
  • Access to your emotions should be minimal: Don’t give people who do not matter any access to your emotions.
    Whatever opinions they perceive about you should not get into you and weigh you down.
  • Develop the habit of Reading books: Read good books on self development, books that can make you a better person. Books that can improve your thinking and make your engage in developing yourself. Read and listen to positive information.
  • Be organized. Organize your thoughts, move processes from your head to an actual organized goals ready to achieve. Schedule time to conquer each goal. Plan yourself, your activities, your fiances, your schedule.
  • Remind yourself of your goals. Remember to keep your goals realistic, challenge yourself through it to achieving greater results. And reward yourself accordingly.
  • Worry less about what you can’t control. What you can’t control shouldn’t be a thing for you to worry about. Forget the “what ifs” and focus on the turning good out of the situation. Don’t be too hard on yourself.
  • Be consistent. Take consistent actions everyday. Even when you are not in the mood, do a small proactive that will project you towards your goals.
  • Eat good and nutritious food. Good food makes you healthy and agile. Eat well so you can look good and healthy. The way to a healthy life is what you feed yourself with both internally and externally.
