Six Things I’ll Tell My Younger Self.

Happy new week! I wish y’all a productive week!

Sometimes I think about my dark days, I can’t but thank God for the growth and the journey so far. Even though it hasn’t been so smooth as I could have ever wished, I always smile at myself and give myself a pat at the back for being so strong.

If I were to tell my younger self six things I have learnt over the years, I would say;

1) There’s always Light at the end of the tunnel. Everything sure gets better, trust me. There’s sunshine behind every cloud. No matter the stage you are in your life, challenges are bound to occur, just hang in there, a time will come when all will become history and you’d be happy again. This too shall pass.

2) You are unique in your own special way. No two persons are born the same way with the same personality and features. You are wonderfully and fearfully made by God. So it’s high time you start appreciating your uniqueness because you have got some very awesome and unique features , never doubt this.

3) Relax. I know you are doing your best, but please relax and take a chill pill. Everything will come together eventually. I’d always remind my younger self to relax in the midst of striving hard to achieve set goals, take a deep breathe and count my blessings always.

4) Invest in yourself. This isn’t a bad idea, no matter how old you are, you are not too younger to start investing in yourself. Take some time to develop new worthwhile skills set, read books, meet new people, take extra courses and classes. Learn something new everyday asides your school courses. The more skills you gain as a youngie, the better for you.

5) You can do it. You are enough to do it. Never look down on yourself about your dreams, you can reach that goal when you put your mind into it. With God on your side, that dream you have been nurturing in your heart, that passion you have for something you love, start now. You can do it. Don’t forget the world might come knocking you down, but you know what, get up and look away, stand firm and start now.

6) Have more fun. At a stage in your life , you’d wish you had enjoyed yourself while growing up. So dearie, enjoy yourself and have more fun the right way. Visit new places, try new things, meet new people, enjoy the moment and be happy always. I will definitely tell my younger self to have more fun because there might not be another opportunity, unfortunately. Lol.

Here’s my face! Lol.

What are the things you’ll like to tell your younger self? I’ll like to read them too. Please tell me in the comment section.

Kindly like, comment and share to your loved ones.

Love and Light Always!🤎
